You probably don't know that I'm one of the most mascara-addict of all time ! I'm always looking for the budget-friendly amazing one ! After being intrigued by one in particular in each Kiko store I walk into, I choose to finally buy it : the Extra Sculpt Mascara in waterproof edition (because spring is here !) but you can find it in non-waterproof edition at the same price.
The first thing that catches the eye is the graphic-ish, geometric-ish packaging really well created if you consider that Kiko Cosmetics is a budget-friendly brand that could only sell mascara in basic packaging. The waterproof version I present you today has the metallic blue line all over the tube (I love looking for details ! haha).
The brush is very singular : synthetic bristles in a hourglass shape. It makes me think about the Too Faced's Better Than Sex mascara one : both really thick, dense and with this particular shape.
The application is really easy, the brush goes really well on the lashes and separate them with adding a lot of length.
The product is really really black, non-sticky and non-doughy ! The result is very impressive after 2 layers of mascara even if only one layer is enough for a waken glance and a defined eye. On the pics, I've only applied a fine line of a cranberry pencil instead of my classic eyeliner black line to show you how intense it is !
In short, this mascara is pretty marvelous for $14 ! The product is ultra black and non-thicky. We can't ask for more ! You can find it here on the Kiko Cosmetics Online Store.
